Hi Bloggers We did the thinking hats slideshow.We used different hats for gala day.We  add some photo's  from gala day.We have to write lots of different things about gala day in our slideshow. My favourite things about slideshow was adding the pictures to the slideshow then  writing about the pictures the we liked .Here is my slideshow

Cards

 Hi bloggers Manukau is  making paper for gala day.We are using recycle paper to make cards. We learned to  make  recycle paper it was difficult  to make the recycle paper  This is how to make paper. First we rip the paper into small pieces.Next fill the bucket with hot water.Soak the pieces of paper overnight Blend the mitre of paper with the egg beater keep mixing till the mixture turns into a pulp.Pour the pulp in to a big desk container.Scoop the mixture with the wooden paper making frame.Shake the extra water out.Flip the frame on the cloth.Finally let the paper dry.

I found  scooping the paper out of the container difficult. It was difficult to put the frame in  the water then extra  the water out .My favourite part was mixing the paper with the egg beater which made the mixture in to pulp.Because  i could see the paper breaking.Now I now how to make recycle  paper, which will help the environment.Cut less tree

Gala Day

25th of November is gala day at Waikowhai Primary School.On gala day we are selling different thing like paper and soap and bag on gala day. There will be  brilliant performs by  Cultural group like Tongan, Chinese, Bollywood, Samoan, Kapa haka. We are also  having water slide for people to go down the slide to have fun.We are also selling yummy food on gala day hope you enjoyed are gala day.    

The Dinosaurs Danger

We have had reading this book has part of our reading class. Different reading group got different novels to read my group got dinosaur danger by Sarah Franser. The story is about two twins brothers like to play pranks on other people. One day they went to the museum with they school.They boys got board and when into a different room. They were shocked to find dinosaurs.The dinosaur were fake They decided to play a prank on the classmates.Read the book to find out what happen in the end. I really enjoyed reading this book. 

Magical World of Crazy Science

Today we were lucky to see the magical world of crazy science at our school. There were two people presenting the show. My favourite part was when he did the fireworks. Richard was really funny. He made fire. He used the lighter, and fuel, then he turned on  the lighter then he tried to burn the grain but he couldn't do it because it was in the the bottle then he sprinkled it in the air then it burned.  He put the fuel in the lighter then threw the fireworks in the air it was really cool to watch. I would like to learn more about how Richard made fireworks. 

Book Week!!

On week 3 we had book week .We did different activities like poem competition and Judi  Bilcliff came to our school  to read same of her poem. On Friday we had a book charter parade we dress up like our favourite book charter. Neom , spider man ,angel and ionman . We went outside to take a photo and then we went up to the junior court  and walk around the court. We had to  danced when we went round the court .My favourite was  charter is spider man it was Mr Riceman .I enjoyed the parade.

First we got our materials then I decided on my shape.
Next we put the tooth picks together and use  the modelling clay  to hold them together.
Third we built a tent together.
We put the clay on to the tooth picks  to hold them but  it wasn't working , so we used more clay to hold them.  After using more clay the tooth picks were holding the shape.

I enjoyed building my tent because I like to create things. 

Cadbury Chocolate factory closing

Hello blogger we learn about Dunedin cad-bury factory today. The chocolate factory was owned by Richard Hudson. we also learned about different chocolate made in the factory. What year they were made.On the cad-bury web site you find how chocolate is made and different recipes of chocolates. also on the web site you can find out more about the chocolate history by searching up our history to find more in information.

Today in cyber smart we made a chart about who looks at our blogs. And we had to make six people who like's our blogs in cyber-smart.We did cyber- smart with James and Jarah was talking about footprints.

Novel Study

Hi everyone we are doing novel study my novel is called Fantastic Mr Fox we did 8 things and it has Favourite moment Bunce and Bean said to Bunce go under to get the Foxes and he said no Because 
opinion PMI we did Positive,Negative,interesting. we did some Question that related to the story.after i did was the illustration who wrote the story. and the man who wrote it was Quentin  Blake. we did acrostic poem my is the nasty framers name bean and tell the nasty stuff he did. and then they found a badger in the way to bunce house.

Term 3

Malo le lei
This term 3 my Favourite thing was Tongan language week because I got to make my own Tongan tapas. Our teacher dress up. Seniors from my class was singing eotua. 

Gymnastics

On Wednesday our class went to Gymnastics.  We learn to do some work out on the obstacle course.i like  skipping in Gymnastics  because it is fun to skipping .i need to work on handstand because it is hard to do.

Art festival 12,9,16

Last week  we have art festival we have looked at same of the Photo we looked at my art festival my class made same did same of Digital joiners.  Here is how i made a Joiner.

Hi we have been making brain games and it was so much fun.   They we finish the games and it was so many people at the hall. There was three teachers and heaps of students.  We got to play with some of the brain games.  My favourite game is the one shown on the picture where you turn the light bulb.
